November 01 A story of "Can I borrow $25"A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door. SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?' DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man. SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?' DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily. SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.' SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?' The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.. 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked. 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.' The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled. 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.' The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. August 27 A loving storyAn amazing Love Story

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby? He replied: 'when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty
coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there'. While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. Then the story was just like every beautiful love story , the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every
time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee e, as she knew that's the way he liked it. After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: 'My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything.. February 25 A trip to Changi BeachLast Friday, 22 Feb decided to bring my doggies for swimming.
Having said that for the past couple of month.
Arrived Changi beach around 0930 hr, sunny & windy but beach is a little dirty.
1st timer for Miki ( Jack Russell) & seasonal for Mili ( Mini Pincher).
Managed to took some pictures before battery run flat. (Forgetten to charge)
Will go again in couple of weeks from now.
October 24 Things I want to do.1. Love to travel to broader my horizon. Love to interact with the way of life.
2. Further my study with a different cultures.
3. To be a volunteer again. To Africa, Middle East or Asia.
Virtually anyway where help is needed, regardless of races, language or religion.
Minded with a sense of inspiration to bring joys & laughter across all walk of life.
Provide them shethers & basic educations.
I felt the sense of completion & satifaction when I saw the smiles on their face,
children laughter, a roof to live in, free education & enough food for them.
It nether you're rich nor the poor to differential the life...................... Happiness is what we need.
Bangkok tripTime really flies... How I wished to stay enjoyable everyday but it not possible.
Back home on Monday night & need to attend class on the following day, how lame it is. Damn it.
Went for 4 day trips to Bangkok, quite fine over there except rushing for time.
Not enough time to shop but at least for awhile so long never gone for trip, so enjoy.
Instead of 2 room we 4 of us spent in a room. (Didn't we waste $$ on tt...haha)
4 heads are alway better then 2. Every night we had hearty enjoyable meal with laughter & humourous chatting.
Chatting till dawn as the night faded away. Shopping thru the corners of endless shops.
Money are worthless, many zeros but spent like water.
I hope next trip all of you guys can make it. Yeah I know it hard for everyone to be free at a same time.

When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the Jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full.

10 steps to enjoying each other better... 1. Be realistic about each other.
Don't try to turn your partner into something he or she is not. Let's face it, guys-there's only 1 Pamela Anderson in the world, and even she has had her implants removed! Give your gal a break and understand that her physical appearance is NOT going to change overnight with the help of a few facials ! or treatments. And ladies, Brad Pitt has already been taken, so you're gonna have to do with what your guy is like! Chill out, love each other for what u are. There is more to your partner than what meets the eye. 2. Always talk things out.
Now guys, I know this is not your fave pastime or mode of resolving issues, but u know what? This works with the gals. Don't make assumptions about each other's feelings. Learn to express yourself better so that your partner understands what you're angry about, or hurt about, or even happy about! When u stop talking to each other from the heart, it's the beginning of the end. 3. Do stuff together .
Make an effort to do things together. Do some sports or involve yourselves in some shared activities; something both of u enjoy or are interested in. It could be as simple as watching movies together, or jus strolling hand-in-hand down Orchard Road. Watch soccer with him once in a while though the green patch on TV puts u to sleep in 3 seconds. And guys, do give in if your gal asks for another day at window-shopping, rather than suggest that she go out with her girlfriends for "that sort of activities" instead. If you're spending more time with your friends rather than with your partner, it's a warning sign that you're drifting apart!!! 4. Meet each other halfway.
If he agrees to throw out that rotten T-shirt with the "The_Rock" print, u shouldn't kick up much of a fuss if he asks u to keep your room tidy. There's gotta be a little giving and taking in a relationship, so learn to meet each other halfway. 5.Show your love
Buy her flowers or candy or perfume every now and then, even if u have been together for years. It's wonderful to continue showing someone that u care for him or her. Cook him a special meal, paint him a Valentine's Day card. Knit him mini-socks he can't wear ( like for decoration purposes => ), buy him a packet of milk for breakfast, or pack his wardrobe for him...so he knows u can still be romantic and loving despite having been together for quite a while. 6. Respect each other.
Stop making jokes about her hair or skin, or whatever it is u love to laugh at. Ask yourself if she thinks if its funny. And if he has an inferiority complex about his height, stop ogling at tall guys and make him feel worse! Love is about respecting each other's feelings and being sensitive to each other at all times. 7. Bury the past.
Stop bringing up the past. Gals..don't bring up the happy things about u and your ex to your guy, it would jus make him jealous or unhappy. And guys, don't talk about the happy times that u had with your ex or mention about her in your every other sentence as it would make your gal feel un-happy and she might think that u saying all this b'coz u are going to get back with your ex or not interested in her anymore. 8. Sit on your jealousy.
All of us go thru' spells of insecurity at the beginning of the relationship, but don't translate that insecurity into jealousy. If you're going to go through your partner's mail and cupboard, and eavesdropping on conversations, u know something is wrong - with u!!! Jealousy is like a poison that slowly spreads thru' the relationship before finally killing it. Trust your partner; love has to have trust in it. 9. Keep your commitments to each other.
If your partner is standing you up all the time and canceling dates and breaking promises, u need to talk! If you're in a relationship, make your partner your priority and don't disappoint them if u can help it. It's really terrible when someone promises to take u to dinner, and then calls to cancel it. Don't make promises u can't keep. If your partner starts to feel that he/she is not important enough to u, u may just lose him/her. 10. Be honest. Honesty is not scowling at how awful she looks first thing in the morning, or telling him that he has the biceps of a fly~! When we say "be honest", we mean expressing your feelings clearly, not being bitingly cruel. When you're hurt, say so, and when you're angry, tell him/her, w/o getting hysterical. If u can't be honest with your partner, who can u be honest with? If Love is also about honesty, and a relationship where honesty doesn't exists probably it isn't worth it!
